Q&A's

Why did Andrea and Gavin form wetnose?

After working at a local riding stable for 8 years, and running a dog rescue centre for 13 years Andrea and Gavin learned through experience how hard it is to run a rescue centre, and try to raise funds to keep them running.

Gavin comments:
"In our experience, we know only too well how these Centres are really struggling, due to lack of funds and volunteers. Many still having to cope with the costs of never ending vet's bills, and medical supplies; and that's without special diets, fuel, repairs, insurances and all the other costs. In response to these hardships, we formed Wetnose Animal Aid to provide a single and central organisation who, without prejudice, would provide assistance, helping those involved in vulnerable animal care to overcome these problems".

Apart from Andrea and Gavin, who else is involved with wetnose on a voluntary basis?
