Please donate however small to our Overseas
Fund which is used to send supplies to help care for some of the
poorest animals Wetnose has ever seen. Thank You for your kindness.
Your donation goes a long way to helping keep these smaller Rescue Centres
going. Wetnose pay's off vets bills or buys equipment which is vital.
Many Centres will have to close if more funding is not given. We all know
who the big organisation are, please don't forget about the smaller ones
who work just as hard. Thank You for your help.
Wetnose donates a
bumper cheque to buy Animal Medicines in Thailand - 7th February
Hot off the press
as they say, picture of Gavin (Wetnose Director) DJ David
Hamilton and vet Brian Stenson who is off to Phuket on the
16th February.
Brian will be doing as much as he can while in Phuket for
the next few weeks, a clinic has been set up by the Soi
Dog Foundation for the animals in the disaster area. But
like all animal rescue work going on at present, he knows
it will be totally overwhelming and very emotional. Working
until the early hours all day every day. Wetnose has given
£1,800 altogether to Soi Foundation and also £1,000
to Wildlife SOS. Geeta Seshamani (Wildlife SOS) said "I
cannot express adequate thanks to you and your helpers, it's
very generous but needed so badly. Warmest regards Geeta.
One of our supporters DJ David Hamilton
said "It's vital we get these
Animal Welfare problems sorted out urgently, these people
need their animals for there own survival, but some are also
pets, for some it's the only family they have left, so keep
your donations coming in, and remember the animals need help
too".
A further £1,000 will be going to the Blue Cross Animal
Foundation based in India who also have been working round
the clock to save as many animals as possible. Many animals
have been stolen for the black market, but many have been
treated for their wounds and reunited with their owners. It
will take months to get these Animal Welfare problems sorted
out.
Although the TV camera's have left the main disasters area's,
there is still lots of work to be done.
Please keep your donations coming
in, Wetnose will help these Organisations for the rest of
the year.
