Talking of donations, I know the Shiremoor Hedgehog Rescue
take in tins of cat food and most rescue centres will take
in dog or cat food but from past experience some food could
not be used as it was to rich and the dogs would get runny
tummies..........not nice when you have 40 kennels to clean
out!
As an alternative; Why not pop along to your local rescue
centre with grannys unwanted Christmas knitted jumpers and
blankets. I'm sure the furry critters will love them this
winter! Or maybe puss puss could spare a ping pong ball or
two? Toys make a stay just that little more bearable for some
animals.
