Wetnose supports hundreds of cats, dogs, horses, ponies, rabbits and many more every year ... with your help !

Please donate however small to our Overseas Fund which is used to send supplies to help care for some of the poorest animals Wetnose has ever seen. Thank You for your kindness.

Your donation goes a long way to helping keep these smaller Rescue Centres going. Wetnose pay's off vets bills or buys equipment which is vital. Many Centres will have to close if more funding is not given. We all know who the big organisation are, please don't forget about the smaller ones who work just as hard. Thank You for your help.

Maybe dressing up your pets is'nt such a good idea!If you are organising a large event or getting formal sponsorships then you should complete the Fundraisers Agreement and return it to us without delay. Please let us know if you need this agreement. Plan your own event, for example:

Absailing or Bike Ride

Animal appeal in schools
Treasure hunt or doggie walk
Car boot sale or bring and buy sale
Pram and teddy bear walk
"Carrying your wife" (an idea from Finland!)
The man carries his wife over an obstacle course to win prizes. It's really popular in Finland and I thought what a great idea for a fund raising event. It looked like a great laugh and loads of couples spent ages training for it.
Toe wrestling........oh painful!
Marathon Running

Special Ideas for Christmas!

Christmas Lights on houses to raise money
Diets in the new year!
Karaoke Party

As always, sponsorships in all fields are needed and welcome because your support continues to help rescue centres.

Many Rescue Centres save and return to the wild animals that have been injured on our roads.

This dedicated care can take many weeks, even months. Many domestic animals are also re-homed but this can take 3-4 months and again costs money to keep them in care. Many bills have to be paid. Some people think a dog or cat is just fed and that’s it. I’m afraid it’s not that simple, with insurances and rates and many repairs it can cost thousands to run even a small rescue centre..

All dogs and cats should be vaccinated, wormed and bathed. Some need urgent operations, and others need to have bad teeth removed or coats that need to be cut and groomed. There are also special diets and different animal feeds which have to be ordered on a regular basis, fuel for heated kennels or a cattery, which is not cheap.

As always, sponsorships in all fields are needed and welcome because your support continues to help rescue centres.
