So pleased to announce TV Presenter Wendy Tuner Webster is to be our PATRON for Wetnose Animal Aid, we have known Wendy for years, Wendy also very kindly used to host our awards events in the past.
Wendy says "Whilst most people love the creatures of this world there are far too many who will abuse their trust and destroy their dignity. Numerous tiny charities pick up the pieces and can only keep going because of the help they receive from Wetnose".
Wendy has always been an animal activist a vegan and now stars in the popular TV programme Crafty Beggars TV with friend Julie Peasgood.
“I support Wetnose Animal Aid and I am proud to be Ambassador to Wetnose Day. It is such a fun and inspiring time to gather people together to work hard in supporting those smaller charitable organisations who struggle so hard to raise funds for the excellent and tiring work they do on a daily basis.”
Karin Ridgers has supported Wetnose Day for the past 5 years. She has attended the awards, interviewed our celebrity supporters and promoted Wetnose Day to the media. Karin is the MC for VegfesUK the biggest vegan festivals in Europe and had her own show again on Phoenix FM every Friday from 6pm to 8pm and chats about animals, veganism, positive living and plays super 80s and 90s music.
She regularly is interviewed as to how and why cater for vegans and advises the Mail on Line, Center Parcs and has written for Leona Lewis’s blog and Ocado. She is passionate about VeggieVision TV her “internet TV station.”
“I am over the moon to be an ambassador to Wetnose Animal Aid and Wetnose Day. Their work is amazing and I am proud to be a small part that helps let more people know about this wonderful day. Funds raised on Wetnose Day (and at anytime!) go to the unsung heroes – those who dedicate their lives to rescuing and caring for all sorts of animals every single day. The stories we hear are moving and inspiring and we want to make their lives a little bit easier. Please get active and Pose With a Nose!!”
