Farm Animal Sanctuary
Eric the Lamb - Eric was brought from a local farm when he was 3 weeks old. He was one of twins and very small. Both lambs were too small to be left with their mother as they were premature.
Sadly one of the twin lambs died, we kept the other lamb and named him Eric. By this time he was fitting and became very spastic. Time seemed to be running out for poor Eric.
When he wasn’t being nursed or fed he was put into a sling inside a box which we designed for him, this kept him upright, but also enabled him to move his legs freely. Gradually with a combination of vitamins and walking exercises, Eric learnt to kneel, then stand, then take a few steps. It was wonderful to watch him. He was a real fighter.
After he became mobile, he moved from my bedroom into the kitchen where he was looked after in turn by our 8 dogs.

Wetnose is going to help the starving donkeys in Sudan.
Please ask for donations to help buy food for these
poor forgotten animals. I have a soft spot for donkeys
they are always abused so badly. Made me shed a few
tears!!
- Andi, Wetnose
In Sudan, thousands of refugees are
struggling to find enough food for their children,
let alone their donkeys and horses. Our emergency
supplies have saved the lives of many animals that
are vital to a family's survival. However, there are
still many more that desperately need our help.
